Augustusburg (German pronunciation: [aʊˈɡʊstʊsbʊɐ̯k]) is a town in the district of Mittelsachsen, in the Free State of Saxony, Germany. It is situated 12 km east of Chemnitz. Augustusburg is known for the Jagdschloss (hunting castle) Augustusburg.
